Calculation Example
For a parcel measuring 50 × 40 × 30 cm weighing 5 kg:
Cubic volume: 50 * 40 * 30 = 60,000 cm³.
Volumetric weight (divisor 5000): 60,000 / 5000 = 12 kg.
Chargeable weight is 12 kg because volumetric weight exceeds actual scale weight.
Calculation Methodology
Formula: (Length × Width × Height in cm) / Carrier Divisor. Carriers bill based on whichever is greater: actual dead weight or volumetric weight.
